Isaac turns 2!

December 5th at 3:45 am my water broke and we were heading to the hospital. It was a day much like today, snowing and stormy. I didn't start labour pains till nine and by noon was relaxed and taking a nap from the epidural. Around 2 pm i woke up and was told to start pushing, and later to stop pushing, because you were coming, and we needed to call the doctor. At 3:19 pm you were born. Because you had two bowel movement in me, you weren't breathing fully or making any noise at first but once they cleared your airways, you were loud and screamin'....and a boy, just what we had hoped for. We named you Isaac because we felt it was a strong, biblical name, and Chadwynne after your uncle who passed away when he was only a few months old. You have brought more joy to our life than we ever imagined, and we are continually being blessed everyday by your charmin' character and your simple way of seeing things, trusting so easily. We love you. Happy Birthday.

Isaac Chadwynne Rempel 7 lbs. 12 oz. 21.5 inches long.

Isaac turns 1 year old.

Growing boy...now weighing 32 pounds and a few inches over 3 feet tall.... I'll post some birthday pictures soon....

This will be shown at their future weddings....

It's so great to capture some of the cousins on video. Josh, Laura, Liam and Emmett were able to come up the last few weekends to help with babysitting for Isaac, since we had three christmas parties to go to, and they had shopping to do. Here's a cute video Laura captured of the boys dancing...and like I said, great wedding material, eh?

Our Babies

Here are some pictures of our new baby to come. These are taken at 16 weeks. I'm leaning towards a boy, just because the heart rate is low like Isaac was....but really it's kinda too early to tell. Here's my other "baby" who's turing two in a few weeks. He's started to be the "helper" around the house. He wants to do everything himself, and help us with everything. Including making supper and doing the dishes. Here we are making sugar cookies for Christmas.

The other night, this is how Brad and I found Isaac when we went to check on him before we went to bed....under his bed, in the blanket drawer, fast asleep.

So adorable!

Finally an update!

Well as most of you know I"m expecting.....I'm due April 25, so we're pretty excited. I'm not showing too much yet for 16 weeks but hopefully I'll get some "belly" pictures up this week. I've been feeling' great, now that I'm over that initial unsettling in the belly and am getting excited to start to show. I love having a pregant belly...any other time, no thank you.

For Halloween this year Isaac dressed up as a Sheriff. He was pretty cute. We were suprised at how much he enjoyed going door to door. We thought maybe he was still too young to understand, but he got right into it, shutting peoples doors for them after they gave him candy. Now he knows what a "treat" really is.....which can in some ways be to our benefit.

Here's are some cute pictures.

He was so excited to use his bag from Auntie Shelley. Although we had to dump it a few times, cause he got so much candy. It was a fun night!

Life Lately

Well I guess I'll start with the beginning of July, man how the summer flew by. July 1st we left Isaac with his grandparents in Manitoba for a week. We met in Regina to drop him off and took some pictures along the way.

We were so happy with how these pictures turned out. We kept looking at these pictures as Isaac was away.

After 10 days in Manitoba, Isaac headed off to Bonnyville for a week. My mom headed there with him to help my sister Laura out with watching Isaac and her son Liam.

After that Isaac and I headed down to Vernon for a friend's wedding. After the wedding I headed home and Isaac stayed for another two weeks in Vernon with my family.
It was a long drive home, but nice to spend some time with Isaac.
Doing chores to help pay for his stay in Vernon. Many trips to the pool and to Davison Orchards. Finally Isaac came home on August the 8th. My mom flew home with Isaac and watched him one more week here in Lloyd. So we had to take her gopher hunting. Here's Mom and Isaac looking in the gopher holes. Hanging out with her two grandsons. Such cuties =)

Because he was gone for so much of the summer, we never had any time to go camping. So for the last few weekends that's what we have been doing.

First we went to Moose Lake as a family. It was pretty cold at night, and kinda rainy weather, but atleast we got away from home and were able to spend some time as a family.Bath time!

Just before this past weekend, Isaac got his haircut. I had to work so Brad took him to the Salon. Unfortunately it wasnt' a fun experience and Isaac cried the whole time so no pictures were taken. Here's somewhat of a before and after.

Before:
After: We just got back from a weekend at Peck Lake. This was a great weekend spent with some friends, doing lot's a fishing and relaxing.
As you can see Brad caught a HUGE fish. 17 pound Northern Pike, 39 inches long. All in all another great weekend.
Now to all the laundry and cleaining that's been ignored for the last few weeks =)

Brad was upset that i did a collage for all the pictures from our last camping trip. He thought there was so many great pictures, and some should be bigger for people to see the fun and beauty that we had and saw, so here's a few blown up =)Getting up early to go fishin', means getting to watch the sun rise.

Isaac loved chasing the birds off the beach! He also loved riding in the boat.

A GREAT day to be alive!

There, now I'm done blogging for a few weeks =)

Brad's Truck

Brad's truck got taken away at work because they needed it at another store, so we decided to get a truck for our own. Working with one vehicle was very difficult with us both working full time, and Brad wanted a truck that he could use for hunting in the fall.

We were blessed with such a great deal. It helps to know people that's for sure. We got this truck for only 2,500. If I remember correctly it's a 2002 Chevy 4X4 with only 198,000. klm. It was a great deal, and we've only put in about 800. Just minor details to fix it up a bit.

Isaac loves to ride in "Daddy's truck". Oh, and as you can tell from the picture above, so does Hudson.

Now that we have a truck, we're saving up for a camper trailer. Cant' wait !
Isaac is in Vernon for the next two weeks, so hopefully I can get caught up on some things at home.

10 days to catch up on life....

Isaac is away in Manitoba for 10 days, then he'll head off to Bonnyville, than to BC and then back home, so for the month of July we won't see him much...time to catch up on some things. I'm goign to miss him terribly ( I already do, and it's only day 2), but atleast I can get a few projects done around the house.

We went fishing with some friends on father's day. It was a rainy day, but the guys still had fun. I'm excited to head to the beach more this summer, hopefully every weekend that we can see Isaac we can make a trip out.

I got this life jacket at a garage sale for free...so I"m sure it'll come in handy.

Isaac was so excited to get out and run around, even though it was raining...he's all BOY!

Isaac yelling out the window in the pooring rain to Daddy, who's fishing in the lake, waist deep.

Playing in the puddles....

Brad and his good friend Darcy soaked from fishing....no fish!

More great pictures to come....our new truck....and our trip to Regina to drop off Isaac =)

Dancing Away!!

Isaac loves to dance! I think he learned from daycare, cause he twirls like a girl would....and that's all there is at daycare, girls. Anyways, it's pretty cute.

Yesterday started off great. Brad went out to a friends farm to help with branding, and Isaac and I headed out later on. Isaac got to ride a horse for the first time, saw lot's of action with the cows and a lot more. Just after brunch, Isaac and I headed home to get ready for a wedding. The wedding was gorgeous...even though I watched most of it from outside of the sanctuary cause Isaac was being too loud. Anways, after the wedding and a nap at home, we went to go pick up Brad from the farm so we could get ready for the reception. We were just sitting around in the barn, relaxing and Isaac was trying to go outside of the barn to play with the dogs. I was watching him try and step off the curb off the barn, but soon saw that he lost his balance and went head first into the concrete. I jumped up, only to think that he would have a bad scrap, but unfortunately he fell into a rock on the ground. This rock put a bad cut into his head about 1/4 inch deep and 1 inch long. So off we headed to the hospital for stitches. It was brutal. Needless to say, Isaac had to be put in a restraining jacket, because he was kicking and screaming so bad. Only 1 hour and 4 stitches later we were back at the farm. We didn't go to the reception, cause we didn't want to leave a drugged up child with a sitter, and thought for sure Isaac would be asleep in no time. Nope....he was still wanting to check out the cows and the horses, but needed to have his hand held everywhere he went, otherwise he'd fall over from the drugs. The nurse at the hospital said that most times the drugs they gave him knock the child out....not Isaac. I'm learning more and more how strong this little man is. Anyways, this morning he's running around, as if he doesn't know there's a gauge in his forhead....what a guy! The pictures don't really do it justice...it was a very deep cut, but I'm sure it'll heal just fine.

Anyways, we'll see how it looks in two days when the bandaid comes off.....
