Week 1 in Vernon

Wow..what a great holiday! These next few posts will be long ones, because I took so many pictures in Vernon. Brad and I were able to stay in a hotel the first week in Vernon, because Brad was there on business for Kal Tire. It sure was nice to have air conditioning...when we moved to my parents for the rest of the holiday we had no air conditioning...very HOT! We had so much fun...visiting with Jason and Darcie from Toronto, Jackson from Africa and all our friends and family in Vernon.

Of course my family took a lot of responsibilities away from me and helped out huge with Isaac. Isaac loved it too...he sure doesn't play strange =) Jason and Darcie feeding Isaac.Jason showing Isaac how it's done!

It was so great to finally meet Jackson. He's so great, and easy to talk to. Feels like we've known him forever. I'm glad I had two weeks to spend with Jackson, and now look forward to Shelley and Jackson coming to our house tonight, then to Bonnyville for the weekend.

Monday we took Jackson to the beautiful Okanagan Lake. It took him a while to go in the water (for him it was very cold), but evetually he did, and he seemed to like it. The guys tossed a ball, while Darcie, Isaac and I relaxed on the beach. It was a beautiful day!

Yeah Isaac

I know a lot of you (mainly my dad) are waiting for pictures from my holiday to BC, and they're coming but i couldn't help but post this video first. Isaac learned how to clap on our trip to BC from a friend Ryder vanTol. It's so cute to watch Isaac learn from others and develop...can't believe he's almost 9 months. (notice that his left hand is the one on the top doing the clapping...he might just be left handed)

I know you all thorougly enjoyed Brad's post ;)....but I'll take over again....

I've been able to capture some pretty cute moments between Isaac and our dog Hudson. Hudson is doing really good at letting Isaac rip his hair out and hit his face...although i can see them a few years older and wanting to play a little rougher than they are now. Just chillin'

We don't normally let Hudson lick Isaac's face...Isaac was lauging.

He's really doing well sitting on his own now.

Can't wait for the long weekend. We're spending some time with the Phillips...so hopefully i'll have another post after the weekend.
