Our Trip up North!!

Finally i get a chance to post some pictures of our trip up to Barrhead Alberta for Easter weekend. We drove close to 11 hours with our dog Hudson to visit Brad's brother Dustin and his wife Justine. We had a really great time, and were very impressed with how well Hudson travelled. Here's some pictures so you can see what a great time we had. Here's Brad and Hudson at our first pit stop--Revelstoke.

Brad's brother Dustin is a powerline man for a company in Alberta. Dustin let both
Brad and I try on all his very heavy equipment to climb a pole near their home. It was a lot of fun, but something i most definetly would not enjoy(being scared of heights)

Here they are getting all set up. Boots, gloves, huge, heavy belt.

Just getting started..

A little higher...

As high as he would go...
...but check out how high Dustin goes...and was he ever fast!
Now me...mmm not so high off the ground=)

Hudson had a great time playing with their two lab puppies. Hudson's eyes were so bloodshot the last day from playing so much and being so tired. He has a blast, and when we got back in the car to go home he was not a happy camper. We could just tell he was upset that he was

leaving his two new best friends.
Thanks Dustin and Justine for some great home cooked meals, and awesome company. Can't wait to see your farm in the summer.

Spring

Well the weather here has been psycho. It's plus 25 one day and then drops down to 3 or 5 the next. Oh well. I realized i haden't written in a while so here's an update. Brad and I have been pretty busy since we got back from Mexico. Brad's working at his certification for Kal Tire for April 24. He has a very important interview with about 5 other men who just pick apart his brain for who knows how long. Baised on what they hear they will either certify him or tell him that he needs more training. Which would take another three months before he would try again. So this has really been occupying his mind. If he does certify than we would be looking at possibly moving to northern alberta to get back into those prairies. We also went up north to Barrhead Alberta to see Brad's Brother Dustin and his wife Justine for Easter. We took Hudson along and had a great time. I'll post pictures later for sure! Other than that things are just trucking along. We're still sponsor for the Junior Youth group at the church till early June, and Brad has just started playing baseball for the church league. We're having fun!
