A walk in Bud"Miller Time" Park

So here is another new post. However this one is going to be far different from any other post thus far. Because I, Brad Rempel, am doing the post. So bear with me if it sucks ok? O.K. Here we go, It's Miller Time !

Here is my Smokin' Red Hot Wife with Hudson. Isn't she hot with her flaming red hair?? You look good Babe !

Just the boys hanging out under a young oak tree. Chillin' !

This is kind of like a Baywatch picture for all you "Bitches" out there. "Hey look at this cool stick you threw away !! I got it. I got it. Here you go."

Hudson at his peak vertical look how high his feet are off the ground. What an athletic dog we have. Who says white dogs can't Jump ???? "I got hops yo!

Playing hide and go seek in the trees with mom.

Me and my Boy, "Buckaroo".

Amazing.

So as you can see here the body weight is transfered to the back foot, while the right arm is bent at a 45 degree angle to maximize power transfer through the lower body, then there is a rotation of the hips which delivers power generation through the body, as weight is transfered onto the front foot, delivering ultimate cosmic power upon release of the hand which can no longer sustain the power...thus rocketing the stick into the stratosphere...upon which time Hudson will go and retrieve the stick. This concludes todays lesson in Kinesiology. Thank-You.

Have you seen my BOOB???

Killer boots eh??!!

Well that just about sums up our day today, hope you enjoyed the new edition. One last thought for all you out there.
Do you crumple or Fold??
Personally I am a folder, I believe it reduces the chance of inadvertant contact, and it saves on the amount of toilet paper used. What about you ???

Cloth vs disposable??

My mom purchased all these cloth diapers at a garage sale! It took me several hours to sort them all out and trash the ones that were "over used". Now that i've sorted them all, and i see how many there are, i'm thinking, "this is going to be way too much work"!! What do you all think? Is it worth it? Don't i need to have plastic covers for all these, so they don't leak through?? I'm lost!
I've always wanted to do cloth, better for the environment and cheaper, but....when i look at this pile of "laundry", I get a little selfish, and think disposables will be just fine!
HELP!!!

Isaac's bestfriend...next to Hudson

Lately I've been putting Isaac to bed awake, letting him fall asleep on his own. He's doing great, as long as I put him down before he's too tired!! Anyways, he LOVES his "BEE"(thanks Auntie Katherine) so much that he's started to fall asleep with her on his face!! SO cute.

Night #1
As you can see, he starts off all wrapped up, and then ends up all tangled in his blanket from playing

Sleeping away

That's better, we'll let the bee sleep beside you, not on you!
The next day...
We now have a child with the head of a bee...crazy child =)

Thank you Auntie katherine for this perfect friend for Isaac. I'll post some videos of Isaac's other bestfriend Hudson a little later. Isaac loves Hudson and gets SO excited watching him run around the house! Priceless!!

The Lloydminster Colonial Days

We had a great time at the Lloydminster Colonial Days this past weekend. We took in the Chuck Wagon races, watched "Canadian Idol" Earl Stevenson perform, and of course purchased a "horseblanket" and some "mini donuts"...soo good! We didn't get to see much of the events because they were during the day and Brad was working, but the chuck wagon finals were very entertaining. Although I'm not much of a fan of animals in sports. Especially for the reason of the first picture. This bunch got all tangled up.
Three wagons, 12 horses, all racing to the finish line. It was a close race for sure!

Beautiful!

Mr. Earl Stevenson. He had a great concert. Only three songs, but still very good live!

And of course, more Isaac pictures.
These pictures were taken once I let him play with the spoon for a while. He sure is teething though. Hope you all have a great week!

He's getting so big!

I can't believe how big Isaac is getting. On Monday he weighed in at 17 lbs, 27 inches long. It's great to watch him learn and grow. He's rolling over, and now learning to sit all by himself. He'll be crawling soon too i'm sure. Check out these pictures of Isaac becoming more stable on his own in his crib, playing with his fish tank.

All smiles.

Playing away.

"TIMBER"........

Now we're off to the fair, I'll post some pictures after the weekend!

Canada Day Long Weekend

On Sunday, we headed up to Bonnyville to jump in the Phillips pool and cool off after some hot weather we've been having. It was a lot of fun! Isaac really enjoyed his little pool, and stayed in there for quite some time. Here's Isaac getting ready for the pool.

John Phillips hooked up the hose to the hot water line in the house, so we had a nice warm pool for Isaac!

Josh, Laura and baby enjoying the cooler pool....right before Brad jumped in and splashed everyone.

That night Brad and I went to Cold Lake to celebrate our four year anniversary with a nice dinner and dessert, while Josh and Laura watched Isaac. It was nice to leave Isaac and enjoy some time together and a nice drive. Can't believe it's been four years!!!

On Monday we took a relaxing day off, and then Tuesday headed off to the Barr Colony Museum here in town for some Canada Day Events. It was another HOT day, so we didn't stay long, but had a great time.
Here's Isaac and I standing by an old truck, and enjoying the old tractor parade. We then ended the evening by having a few people over and enjoying a great BBQ by Brad and some good company. It was all around a great relaxing weekend, that we all needed!

This is how I've been finding Isaac when I go into his room after his naps. He's obviously more mobile now, and for some reason likes to cram himself into the corner with all his toys. He'll wake up from his nap and play in his crib for an hour, just playing with his toys and talking to his best friend, "Mr. Bee".

Hope you're all enjoying your summer weather!!!
