Recuperating from last weekend!

So last weekend I had Emmett, Josh and Laura's dog, staying with us for 4 nights. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, the clean up was the worst part! I cannot believe the amount of dog hair has been swept and vacuumed from this house the past few days. And yes, it's taken me a few days to get all that hair outta here, and those windows cleaned. It was so much fun for Hudson though, so I would do it again, but maybe not when Hudson is just starting to loose his winter coat! (Also, huge thanks to Brad for running the dogs every morning and night, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to handle their energy and take care of Isaac all day by myself. )

Hudson and Emmett taking a break from playing. Hudson always has to know where Emmett is at all times.
From the front windows to the back door, these boys were always together checking things out!

Hudson depressed that Emmett's gone.

Isaac's been doing great as well. Learning how to hold the bottle almost by himself is something he loves. He's also eating very well from a spoon too! Here he is in his favorite spot...his exersaucer!! He would play in here for hours if we would let him.
He loves chewing on these shoes!

These lovely daisies have lasted on my window sill for the past two weeks. I love seeing them in the sun!
Well that's enough for now, off for another walk in the park. I'm sure there'll be lot's of pictures from the long weekend coming up!

God is so faithfull

I am so excited to share that Jackson, my sister's boyfriend from Kenya, has finally received his VISA after 1 1/2 of trying and being denied twice already. There is power in prayer, and God has taught us all so much. He is faithfull, and i'm reminded of the song and verses..." He who started the work will be faithfull to complete it in you.." He is a God who wants to build our character more so than give us comfort. And we know that that character building is for our the best, to help us through the situations we are in. We know that His timing is best, and so we learned to be a patient, and trust in Him, waiting for His timing and for Him to have the perfect person look over Jackson's files and approve his visa. What a great God we serve!! I am so thankful that he's answered all of our prayers. Jackson will fly to Canada mid- july, and we look forward to spending time with him when we travel to Vernon in August, for Brad to take some training at the Kal Tire head office. Thank you all for your prayers. Thank you God for blessing us!
We can continue to pray for Jackson as he has to find men to take over his classes that he teaches, as well as someone to take over the hostel that he manages. As well as say goodbye to his family. He is, understandly, nervous and anxious, so we can continue to pray for him and Shelley. thank you!

Isaac is 6 months old!!

Our little man is already 6 months, and is learning and growing so fast. We can't believe it!

Almost sitting by himself, well he is in this picture, but when he's on the ground with no back support, he doesn't do so well. He's learning pretty fast though!

Such a cutie!
He's found those toes!

Always, and i mean always, reaching for what's infront of him! (which of course is usually my hair, or my nose!)

He's still such a kicker... you should see him in the bathtub...kickin' away. We think he's going to be fast skater, with great footwork...hahaha

Brad and Isaac cuddlin' at a Rodeo we went to recently. Isaac's really started to enjoy cuddling...so adorable!

Only 6 months of maternity leave left. we're still unsure of what we're going to do, what we can afforsd, but I sure would love to stay home all day with this little guy!

Can't believe it's JUNE!!

Thankfully June has brought with it beautiful weather. We were able to enjoy a great walk in the park on Sunday, and let Isaac put his little toes on grass for the first time. He didn't mind it one bit. Today he also tried peaches...we'll see how that effects him tonight! It's been a great start to the month of June.

Chillin' with Dad

Chillin' with Mom

Stepping out onto new ground!

Enjoying the sunshine, with his new hat. Gotta love those garage sales...25 cents.
We need to get this man some real shades!

mmmmm...PEACHES!
Brad and I are keeping busy with our couples bible study and my woman's bible study, each once a week. We also enjoy taking Hudson and Isaac for a walk every night... to get out and let Hudson run wild for a bit is always a good thing=) Anyways, I hear Isaac stirring in his crib, maybe I can catch a few zzz's before he really wakes up....who am i kiddin' =)
