The Family comes to us!

It was so great to have family come and visit with us for the last week or so. It's been so relaxing and we've made so many memories. He're are many pictures that capture the memories.

It all started with Isaac, Hudson and I heading out to Bonnyville for the weekend. I didn't want to stay home alone and wait for the family to come, so i spent some quality with the Phillips. Good times.
Scary picture...laura sucked her fingers like this for many, many years. Hopefully this isn't going to be the case with Isaac.More expressions from our little guy.

Emmett jumping on the trampoline. Hudson couldn't figure out how to get up there.
Then the Rempel family arrived. Brad's mom and dad, grandma, and sister Lindsay, were all here for three days. It was great. We went on walks, played some crib, did some garage sales, and so much more. Thanks for a great visit Rempel family.
Isaac loved getting to know his Auntie Lindsay more.
Four Generations. It was so great that Grandma Rempel was able to come to our house for a visit.

Isaac was full of smiles!

The Rempel Family.
Then the Weglo family came for a night in Lloydminster, then we all headed to Bonnyville for a few days. We had a great visit. We played lot's of games, headed out to the cabin, and enjoyed some good home cookin' from Mom. Thanks guys for driving so far and for flying out from Toronto. We had a great time making memories=)
Isaac learning how to suck from the "real thing"...Coca-Cola!

Many hours of games, into the wee hours of the night...even Isaac was in on the fun with Auntie Shelley.

The game of Guelf...had to embarrass josh with these pictures. We all embarrassed ourselves!!Getting the fire ready for hotdogs, and smokies.

Good times out at the cabin for sure. The boys played some horseshoe, while the girls sun tanned on the deck. Oh and we ate a little too!

Fun times with Auntie Shelley, and Uncle Jason.

Thanks for all the good times!!!

There is light at the end of the tunnel!!!

I can't believe it, but I tried to put Isaac to sleep without his hands tucked in, and he fell asleep. I think because he was SOOO tired that he just fell asleep. Hope this is the beginning to many more naps and nights of free arms. What a precious bundle of joy!

Here are some other pictures I captured as Isaac turned 5 months old on Monday.
Isaac's got Brad's eye colour. Changes with what he wears. Somedays green, somedays blue!

Still loves to kick....

But now he's finding those toes. And oh, does he ever love to stand!! He's getting stronger day by day. I think we may have a pretty strong little man on our hands.

Can't wait for him to meet his Auntie Lindsay and Great Grandma Rempel this weekend. We got a lot more visiting to do these next couple of weeks....oh no, Isaac's waking up....betcha he's thinking, why the heck are my hands free=(

Our holiday in Vernon

Well I feel a little better today, thanks to the sun shinning, and a restful day yesterday. I can't believe how much a trip can mess around his Isaac's feeding and eating schedule. Maybe next time the family will have to come to us=) My body sure took a tole from the holiday as well. All the visiting made for sleepless nights for me...not a good thing=( Anyways, I'm getting caught up and am working hard at getting Isaac back on track. He's doing much better=) We had a GREAT time in Vernon, visiting with family, friends, and making a special trip to Burnaby to visit with the Weglo's...what a blast!
What a growing boy!

A tribute to those flames!
Such a cute smile!

The many expressions of Isaac...and his dad!

Thanks Great Grandma Wolfe for making this great blanket for Isaac.

Down in Vancouver...
Unlce Jim sure had a way with Isaac. He was so calm in his arms, and had lot's of smiles.
Isaac loved sitting on the porch at Great Grandma Weglo's and watching the many cars go by!

Isaac loved playing with Great Grandma Weglo, and Auntie Katherine..can't wait for our next visit!

Isaac and I both got our haircut...what do you think?
