Jackson and Shelley come to Lloydminster!!

First of all, I just start off with a CONGRATS to my sister Shelley, who is now officially engaged to Jackson!!! Yeah....although Jackson is now back in Africa, as of today. We are hoping that the embassy will let him return early next year for a WEDDING!!! We had a great visit with Jackson and Shelley when they came to visit us. Jackson was cold a lot of the time, but survived this northern city.

Jackson, Shelley and Isaac playing the guitar. It was so much fun to get to know Jackson.

It was nice for Shelley to finally come and see our church, and great for Jackson too! He was able to meet the pastor and make a contact for future speaking engagements.

Isaac all dressed up for church.

We headed to Bonnyville for Jackson to meet Josh and Laura. It was a lot of fun, and even got to have birthday cake for Brad (aug 28) and Jackson (aug 24)!!!

We headed to the park for some pictures...it was a gorgeous evening.
I'm so glad we were able to spend some quality time with Shelley and Jackson. A few days later I headed back up to Bonnyville to help Laura stack up her freezer before the baby came. A few shots from the two days.
We made lasagnas, spaghetti sauce, meatballs, burgers, perogies one day. The next day we made muffins, cookies, eat mores, oatmeal squares, and a whole lot more goodies!! It was fun, and now that Liam is here they can enjoy it all!

And now i believe i'm almost up to date with my blogging...next more pictures of Liam, and our 1 year anniversary of being in Lloyd...which is also Hudson's 2nd birthday!!

Brad turns 27!!

So I'm going to back track a little bit here. When Liam was born I had to post some pictures, but I still have some pictures from Aug and the beginning of Sept that I need to share=)

On Aug 28, Brad turned 27...it's hard to believe he's 27!!! We had a relaxing night at home with some good home cookin'. His birthday present was Paul Brandt tickets to the concert we went to earlier in the year. We ended the night with a nice walk in the park with Isaac and Hudson.

Some great Manitoba Sausage, potatoes, corn, garlic bread..mmmm!!

Isaac says "happy birthday dad!"

Happy 27th Bradley, love ya!

Week 1 continued....

Okay, so here is the rest of our trip to Vernon.

We really wanted to take advantage of the outdoor peanut pool, and the beaches. Shelley was able to take a day off work so we could all hit the pool. It was a hot day too, so it was very refreshing. I'm so glad that Isaac loves swimming.

Drying off in the nice warm sun.

Againg we went to the peanut pool with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandpa was a chicken and didn't go into the water, but Isaac sure had a great time swimming with Grandma.

Another highlight of the trip was that Brad and I got to go on a date night in Kelowna. We walked along the water, had a great meal at Milestone's and enjoyed spending time just the two of us!!

We need to go on date nights more often!

It was nice to visit with a bunch of friends in Vernon....Isaac had a great time with Roxanne!
WEEK 2 in Vernon....

Splish Splash Isaac was taken a bath!!

Grandpa teaching Isaac how to dance to music off the computer...Isaac loved the loud music!!

Dancing away!

We also got to head out to another beach and enjoy some more beautiful BC weather. Isaac, once again, loved to get his feet in the water.
Isaac wanted to fall asleep being held. It was nice, but now that i'm home, it's hard to break!
I also got my hair cut while in Vernon. At first, it was too short, but now, I think I like it.

Jackson and Isaac...on a "Nairobi Expedition"

That about does it!! So much has happened since our trip to vernon. Stay tuned for pictures from Bonnyville, Brad's birthday and more!
