Isaac loves to dance! I think he learned from daycare, cause he twirls like a girl would....and that's all there is at daycare, girls. Anyways, it's pretty cute.
Yesterday started off great. Brad went out to a friends farm to help with branding, and Isaac and I headed out later on. Isaac got to ride a horse for the first time, saw lot's of action with the cows and a lot more. Just after brunch, Isaac and I headed home to get ready for a wedding. The wedding was gorgeous...even though I watched most of it from outside of the sanctuary cause Isaac was being too loud. Anways, after the wedding and a nap at home, we went to go pick up Brad from the farm so we could get ready for the reception. We were just sitting around in the barn, relaxing and Isaac was trying to go outside of the barn to play with the dogs. I was watching him try and step off the curb off the barn, but soon saw that he lost his balance and went head first into the concrete. I jumped up, only to think that he would have a bad scrap, but unfortunately he fell into a rock on the ground. This rock put a bad cut into his head about 1/4 inch deep and 1 inch long. So off we headed to the hospital for stitches. It was brutal. Needless to say, Isaac had to be put in a restraining jacket, because he was kicking and screaming so bad. Only 1 hour and 4 stitches later we were back at the farm. We didn't go to the reception, cause we didn't want to leave a drugged up child with a sitter, and thought for sure Isaac would be asleep in no time. Nope....he was still wanting to check out the cows and the horses, but needed to have his hand held everywhere he went, otherwise he'd fall over from the drugs. The nurse at the hospital said that most times the drugs they gave him knock the child out....not Isaac. I'm learning more and more how strong this little man is. Anyways, this morning he's running around, as if he doesn't know there's a gauge in his forhead....what a guy! The pictures don't really do it justice...it was a very deep cut, but I'm sure it'll heal just fine.

Anyways, we'll see how it looks in two days when the bandaid comes off.....
