Where is the time?

Being back at work has put a strain on my time for sure. I just don't have the time to jump on facebook or update the blog as often, so you'll have to forgive me for that.
This past weekend, we were excited to have Josh, Laura, Liam and Emmett come and stay with us. It was a very relaxing weekend, of just hanging out....just what I needed.
It's great to watch Isaac and Liam interact with one another. I can't wait till they get a little older.

Isaac pulling Liam's ear.......you just wait a year Isaac, he won't let you get away with it then =)

Hudson, Emmett and Isaac checking things out outside.

Cutest little phillips ever!

This is Isaac's new favorite thing....reading books, and if he can snuggle up with hudson, all the better!

Christmas 2008

Christmas this year was with Brad's family in Manitoba, so we opened our gifts as a family here in Lloydminster before we left. It was fun to watch Isaac open his gifts but he was still a little too young to really know what was happening. Next year will be even better i'm sure.

Our family picture in Lloydminster.
We were suppose to take the train to Oakville, MB, from Saskatoon, but when we woke up on the 23 to catch the train we found out it was delayed 9 hours. We decided to just drive the 9 hours instead to Manitoba ourselves. We so thankful we did, because we got our money back from VIA rail and ended up saving two hundred dollars by driving. Thankfully Isaac did really well driving too!
Isaac and Auntie Lindsay. It was so great to have Lindsay stay with us the week before we left to Manitoba to watch Isaac. He was really sick, and so it was so nice that he was able to stay home and recover.
Driving by the town my mom was born in...Grenfell Saskatchewan. My mom is related to the whole town, i'm sure of it !!

This how we warmed up Isaac's bottles on the 9 hour drive.

Isaac finding the glass balls on the tree. We moved those up pretty fast...and yet he still managed to smash 6 or 7 of them

We started a new tradition this year and had Grandpa read the Christmas story. It was pretty cool for sure.

Lindsay wanted steak for Christmas dinner, so Brad got out and BBQ. Isaac spending time with Grandpa

Isaac's first time on the ice...HE LOVED IT!! We can't wait to take him out here in Lloyd, if it ever warms up.

All together with Great Grandma RempelOverall it was a great trip, with tons of memories and great times. I could've added so many more pictures, but my laundry is still not put away from the trip. I also can't wait to scrapbook this holiday.
