Our Busy Home

This house has been busy, and i know in a few days will only get busier. But it's been great.

Isaac had to get another haircut. His hair grows so fast, and I wanted it short for when it gets hotter out. I dont' know what happened to my 2 1/2 year old, but i know have a 4 year old. I keep lookin' at him, with his new haircut and think, who is that? What happened to me little boy. He looks so grown up, but it suits him, and he is cuter than ever. Cheese!
We were busy the last week with another April snow storm. We headed over to our friends farm where they had 5 to 6 feet snow drifts and the boys made a huge snowfort, and tunnel for Isaac. It was a great day! Thankfully the day after the snow storm the sun came out and started to melt the snow. That was also the day that Isaac locked me out of the house for 45 minutes. I went to bang off the vaccum filter and he turned the deadbolt behind me. Long story short, Brad was able to come and unlock the door after 45 minutes of trying to get Isaac to unlock it. He was fine the whole time, and thankfully nothing was cooking on the stove....all in all, we learned a lesson....get spare key for house and hide outside=)

Other than that, we've been waiting for baby to come. My mom surprised us and came up on Sunday. I only wish the baby was here already, but it's worked out great because Laura ended up needing daycare this week, as her sitter had a family emergency, so mom would have been called up anyway. So, we've been heading to the park, flying kites and enjoying the sunny weather.

The boys loved going down the slide, over and over again! Oh, and that soccer ball goes everywhere with them too.Best of Buds!Tired after a busy morning at the park!

Next day we flew a kite!! Isaac enjoyed it more than Liam....but some overall good times!Isaac learning to blow bubbles.

Liam learing to eat bubbles =) Two, very cute boys!!

Yes, we've been busy, but it's only going to get busier when baby comes, which i hope is ANY DAY! I love being pregant, but i also love holding a baby, and can't wait to see if it's a boy or girl! I think the next post will be of the new baby so until then, I"m off to clean the house and do the laundry!

April Blizzard

Thursday around midnight the wind started, gusts up to 90 km. Then a few hours later came the snow....and it never stopped until this morning. It's still very windy, but atleast it's not snowing. However, they say we should be getting another 5 cm tonight. Crazy Lloydminster weather. Thankfully Isaac is very much like his dad, and the cold windy weather doesn't bother him too much. Isaac just wants to be where daddy is, which was outside shovelling. I'm so glad Isaac loves to be outside and be active, more reason to get out in the country. So, this morning we spent lot's of time watching the tractor clear the parking area, and then they headed outsided all bundled up to shovel some snow. Lot's of snow drifted up against our place. Some drifts were up to Brad's waist. Isaac using his wheelbarrow to push around the snow.
Isaac, even though the wind was howling, wanted to go on a sleigh ride. Brad took him to the park and he loved it....what a prairie boy!
I'm so happy the baby hasn't come yet. Laura wouldn't have been able to come from Bonnyville, and my mom would've had a terrible time on the roads. So far i have one week left and the baby is still moving lot's...sometimes too much, making it very uncomfortable. I feel as though the baby has dropped, but am hoping for the baby to stay in a little while longer.

39 weeks!
