Hockey Day in Canada

I know, it's terrible! I haven't blogged since October of last year. However, now that i've finally sat down and put up a new post, i hope it will motivate me to be consistent. Life has been good. We have been enjoying out outdoor rink a lot. There have been a few weeks this winter of -40 to -50 temperatures but other than that, it's been pretty mild with next to NO snow. It better be a wet spring or we're gonna have some pretty upset farmers and some upset campers with fire restrictions. We have some pretty big cracks in the ground in our yard from the dry weather conditions.

Anyways, here are some pics of us on the rink Brad made for us. I have to find some skates so i enjoy it more, and Autumn too!

Isaac has been taking skating lessons since September and we've seen some great results. He can now skate around the rink quite fast for being 4, and can jump, turn in circles and is learning to skate backwards. We're really proud of him!
Hockey Day in Canada was spent outside on our outdoor rink!
Hudson gets in on the action too!

We've had a moose hanging around for a few days. So after the second day of watching her Isaac decided to name her Alexander. She even wanted to go for a skate on our rink!
Autumn loves to wear her "pretty" dress. So some mornings she'll come running out of her room yelling, "pretty, pretty" with a dress in her hands. Here she is in a few of her dresses.

 Isaac is getting so big!

And we've had some pretty great sunsets our our front living room window! What a great way to end a day :)
Now, i promise you i will have another blog update next week ;)

I see Alexander, the FEMALE moose, has made herself at home. Cute pictures. Appreciate the update.
What about a video of our grandson skating?

hi guys. great post sarah. laura and i have some catching up to do as well. Great job on the rink Brad. looks big and flat - a nice surface to skate on. edges are nice to keep the puck on the ice too. Great job!! Cool pic's of the moose! i've only ever seen a wild moose once a long time ago so that's pretty cool that it comes right up to your house. Isaac looks so much older since we saw him at Christmas. Autumn is so cute. Funny how she comes out in the mornings saying "pretty, pretty". Thanks for the update Sarah. say hi to everyone from Auntie Darcie and Uncle Jason. would like to skype with you guys soon. will talk to you later.
Love Uncle Jason
